Phormium and ground cover roses (Rose)

Love these roses have been flowering since May need a drastic cut back, but so lovely can't bring myself to do it.

I like the way the phormium complements what looks like sedium in the foreground, and yes I know how you feel about the roses.

Thanks Stroller, yes it is sedum, pictures bit hazy was really sunny day.
Yes hate cutting them back, just had to give a climber thats grows round my patio window good cut back, thought I'd gone bit too far but have seen signs of growth so haven't killed it, it had grown round patio window then up round upstairs window and was heading for the roof, lol.

Definitely won't be cutting back till late winter, more and more flowers opening every day at moment, looks better than its looked all summer, must be sunny weather.

Wow thats good to hear, we are all guilty at times of cutting some thing down as it starts to wane, or we want to put in new plants, maybe we should pull in the reins and let the plants tell us when its time!
