Unexpected visitors.....

Well it’s been a funny day today ( weatherwise ) sun,rain gales and freezing temperatures.
My friend took me shopping, funny thing is I always manage to buy things for the garden no matter where I go lol
When she brought me home I was surprised to see that I had unexpected visitors….I hadn’t got anything in that I could offer them.
Can we come in ?
We’ve come a long way to see you…
How rude ! Didn’t even offer us any refreshments..
Let’s go – we know when we are not welcome !
Just a quick paddle before we make our way home.

Lovely, unexpected visitors but they should have called ahead 'cos 'if you'd known {they}were coming you'd have baked a cake', I expect!

I know it was very remiss of me Scottish but I was taken by surprise !
Yes Tuesday, I would have gone in the garden and selected some juicy slugs and snails and made a slimy cake for them yuk!

It's always nice to see pictures of wildlife visiting and I'm sure they will have found one or two snacks before leaving lol!

We have a pair visit us in the back garden, when they first came some years ago we gave them a bit of bread as they swam on the garden pond, had to stop that though as if the back door was open they came in.....and ducks poop quite often........

Yes it is Red, i'm just glad they didn't get into the back garden too Pam ! My friend keeps ducks and she never has many flowers as they keep eating them....lol
