"Road kill" on the couch!

Little Mystic has claimed our couch in the living room as HIS spot to relax and became “total road-kill” this afternoon:

That looks like one little happy camper! :-)

There's no better sight than a relaxed cat :-))))))))))))

They always pick the best places for their snooze dont they.

And don't they always take up a lot of room ?
For small animals they certainly know how to hog half a double bed, an entire 2 seater sofa and the floor space surrounding a fireplace !

Two of my cats like to sleep on the mantleshelf as it keeps the heat when the fire is off,but if smokey takes up to much room whiskas will wash her so she moves and whiskas can get a bit more space for herself.

Love it..look at that stretched out fur...lol..oh...so luxurious.. lol...

I have to admit I like it when they do this and the head lolls off the sofa, then the shoulders slide, then the entire cat falls onto the floor, wakes up and walks off as if it had meant to do it! They don't 'do' embarrassment, do they?
Wish you hadn't said 'road-kill', though...my babe was killed on the road last month ( and he did look rather like this when we got him back...)
Don't worry, my sense of humour is making a fighting come-back!

Snap Bscot this happens to smokey and as the hearth is wood she makes such a clatter.

Sweet dreams.

My Guy is stretched out beside me as I type. Animals are programmed to be on the alert for preditors and other dangers I think pets only relax like this when they trust their surroundings and the people in it?

I wish I could be that relaxed!

Dont you want to snuggle up beside him and go to sleep too?
