Comedy of idiocies!

Oh Blog It!
I sat here & wrote a blog, & the whole site disappeared on me! How did I do that????
Could be the hangover! Anyway, I’ll try again, but I’m doing it in Word first!
A Comedy of Idiocies!!!
I survived the bbq, just! Though I left the house without the banoffi pie & had to go back for it! On the bus to Blairgowrie, I realised I’d left my overnight bag in the kitchen, so decided I’d just come home at night. Then I got lost trying to find my friends’ new house..I helped them move in!! Honestly, I could get lost in my own living room!
When I finally got there, had a great time catching up on all the goss…. And several Black Russians, or Black Ruffians, as they were later dubbed!
Around 9.30, I asked for directions to the bus stop & no-one would tell me, they’d decided I was staying!
After another BR, I didn’t care much, & we headed off to a club, which was ok, but my ex was there! I now know the new image works…after losing 3 stone & cutting my hair short….he didn’t recognise me (thankfully) so I was able to enjoy the rest of the evening. After the club, the remaining 5 of us who were still awake went back to the house & decided it was feeding time again! That’s when the banoffi pie came out (there hadn’t been enough for 20, so we kept it for later) so we were all on sugar highs by bedtime (around 3am).
I got up at 8, & surveyed the carnage in the garden & kitchen, not nice! By 10.30 the garden was tidy & the gender roles were in place; me in the garden, the boys doing the dishes & cleaning the oven!
It then took me a further 4 hours just to get home!
John & Julie brought me, a bike & a roll of bubble wrap back to Perth. I got them to take them in the back gate while I opened the doors, & emerged into the garden to find John introducing himself to “Helping Hand” & shaking it!!!!!!!!!!! Then he said, “Who did you bury here?” & “ all you need now is a head coming out of the ground”, turned & saw the Buddha head, & decided it was time to go!
I’m surrounded by idiots!!
I FINALLY got the painting done, but managed to paint myself out of the house (front door was locked) & had to watch the paint dry cos I couldn’t walk across it to do anything else!!!!!
On the up side, I’ve put my solar lights & a feeding station in, & even planted my tatties!! The herbs are now on the windowsill, & I’m heading back out to put all my pots back now that the paint is dry.
Or maybe I’ll head down to the river, it’s a gorgeous day today!

Yes, it was a bit! Apart from this morning, that was just time-wasting, but the sun was out, so I caught some rays in the hours it took to get going!I didn't get for my walk this evening, just realised I have 3 days to get my kitchen dismantled & sort out a makeshift one in the living room & reorganise the whole house to try to store every thing! Nightmare!!

Yep, not an awful lot, but some! The seeds I planted out are all coming up, so it might fill out soon. Just bought some more, but not sure if I'm too late to get them out. Hollyhocks (Black Knight), Malope, A Cottage Garden mix, Blackcurrant Fizz Poppies,Echinacea & Gypsophila. There are more on the way!
