Taking shape

After a long break I can finally get on with all the jobs I have planned in the garden!

Remember this?

And how it looked in October

Well it’s coming along nicely now, all the new plants are settling in, and today I made a little wigwam for my sweet peas

All the bare earth is waiting for the next batch of freebies from my friends garden – I’ve been promised lots more irises, and all kinds of other goodies – so exciting!

I’ll get a birds eye view tomorrow (I’d better tidy up first!)

Thanks Hywel! I just realised that I've always got a yellow snake in my photos - please ignore it, I'm not the tidiest gardener I'm afraid.

Me neither. I always see something I should have moved after I take the photos. Well never mind. You can't live in a chocolate box photo can you . It isn't natural :o)

I love your sweet pea wigwam, you have made a very attractive and neat job of it. Mine will be making do with the bare trunks of a couple of conifers which were intended to be converted into a natural archway. One day!

Very 'arty' and attractive wigwam. I love the photo of the new shoots coming on the Sorbus/Rowan(I think that's what it is) . Great time of year!

I can see you have also been busy redesigning your garden since your kids have grown up too, like mine.
It's looking great, look forward to seeing it's progress over the next few months
