It means it doesn`t it.

Enough already, I know many people have it a lot worse than us so I must be thankful. At least whilst it looks like this I cannot see the havoc the dogs have caused, lol……..

Ooohhhh ... :o((((( is that recent ?
We had it bad too but there's been none since last Saturday. It's gone down a bit now.
I hope it does for you aswell soon. It's so depressing. Makes me feel nauseated even thinking about it.
I have to dig my car out today to go shopping. There are no buses running :o((
I hope you are coping the best you can.

Looks like you had a heavy fall - we were virtually snow free until yesterday - the ground was like concrete it was a permafrost for 6 days - and now the snow has that hard crunch to it - Scotland has been -20 too.

Oh dear Sue, had the previous fall gone or is it still lurking under this latest lot? Ours is still hanging around but slowly melting until today. We're all fed up with snow and to get even more is NO joke. Just keep reminding yourself that it will go sooner :o) or later :o(

I'm sorry for you, Lincslass, but at least your plants are protected from hard frosts under all that snow. No good for bigger plants/bushes/trees as the weight of the snow can break them.

We have been lucky here in H'don, never more than 3 or 4 cm of the stuff! Lots of hard frosts though which is worse for plant life as it freezes the ground deep & we end up with a kind of permafrost as it goes on for days & days with almost no thawing. :-((

Unfortunately we have the same conditions in our garden and have been forcast heavy snow again tonight here in the midlands, will it never end.
I think the only thing for it is to shut it all out of the mind and tuck into all the Christmas goodies.lol.
