RHS Tatton 2011

Well here’s my version of Tatton and what caught my eye. I also managed to empty my husbands wallet, my Dads wallet and Mums Purse – great day and lots of new plants :-)))). I’ll spend the weekend re-arranging things to fit them in -joy. I actually took 95 photos but i’ll not post them all lol.

Heres one for Hywel

Grasses, ferns and Hostas in abundance

It amused me that the plants we bought we put them in the Plant Creche while we carried on looking around and then collected them at the end. I came away satisfied that I had a good day out and would recommend a visit to others.

The first one Pixi was planted with plants of dark foliage - I actually wasn't very keen and wouldn't want it, but I would love to have designed and planted it for somebody else - I did appreciate it.

My favourite was Chester Zoo's dinosaur garden, and looking at all the grasses on the specialist nursery stands.

hywel - I spend all my own money first - my mother was terrible saying things like "what about this" "oh Kay that would look lovely next to the deck" etc ect ect how could one resist. My parents really enjoyed spending money for me.

Great photos....I liked the hostas and ferns as they are currently on my "to buy" list :)

I did consider going to Tatton but the admission seemed expensive...maybe have to save for another time. Glad you enjoyed the garden....and that you got to spend money (yours and others'...lol)
