Bitterly cold by the Humber Bridge GC

I had finished work and popped in on my home home the other day.
I hadn’t been since the “balmy days of summer”…
So, I was the only visitor outside braving the bitter cold in the little GC. The chap who was preparing a pretty display of cyclamen offered advice on my chosen hellebore.
The shop inside is a lovely little place all prettied up and quite expensive. I bought a couple of Christmas tree mouse ornaments and some red bells for the tree. The bells were cheap at £8 for 8.
Picked up a couple of cyclamen and my hellebore too.
I shall definitely return in the warmer months.

It is a nice place to visit but as you say can be a little expensive.

I agree a very bitter wind today and then the rain later on really has put a dampener on the day.

Just my sort of browsing place and the occasional purchase. Nothing tacky there Kate.

Thanks, Eileen. It's a little jewel on the way home before the bridge. Pretty gifts to be had. Small gc outside, but good selection.
It's been drizzly here today, I've not ventured out.. housework and chores. I'm working tomorrow, Christmas eve, covering our office till the afternoon. Then, I'm off for a few days. Having Christmas with OH's mum and family in Little Weighton.
I'll be able to chill out tomorrow evening and OH and I will snuggle by the fire and watch some Christmas TV.

Thanks, Julia. I think you'd like this little gem. They have a lovely restaurant too, opposite the GC, with an outdoor seating area next to one of the little lakes.
There's a brewery at the rear too.
It's all with the Old Tileworks. They have a lovely terracotta pot shop too.

Wish it was nearer, Kate!

A bit late looking at this Kate!
It looks a really lovely place and most garden centres are expensive now, but you got a bargain with your bells!
