Hi everyone have just started to catch up with this lovely site and firstly i would like to say Hello and hope everyone had a lovely festive time and great new year. This site is fab i have been looking at some of the blogs and they are great. What amazes me is that even having not been on for some time everybody is so helpful and kind. I am having some difficulty working out how when i have entered my inbox how i reply to them other than private messages, please enlighten me if you could. I have some work ahead of me this year as i or should i say we my husband and i have taken on an allotment and as i have never done this before. I have already had some brilliant advice from Doctor Bob thankyou, well our plot is a 10 rod sized plot and when i saw it i thought maybe i have bitten off more than i can handle but no i will give it a really good go!!! Actually we are really keen to get started, we popped over a couple of weekends ago with forks in hand but alas returned with a couple of bent forks as the ground was frozen solid. Better luck next time. Also i am enrolling on a Horticultural course only part time as other commitments take up time, feels a bit strange going back to school at my age but my brain is eager to soak up all those facts and practical hands on skills just hope i am able to do it. I already garden for a few clients a few hours a week but my aim is to have a succesful business doing what we love the most (gardening ).

Hallo - just click on the link which will take you to the 'thread' or photo, and there's a box there to type your comment in. I hope that makes sense!

In your inbox on your incoming messages in the bottom right hand corner it tells you which photo or blog the comment came from...Just click on the title and it will take you there.
Good for you for taking the horticultural course. Its something I would like to do too but don't have the time right now. It is strange going back to school. I went back and completely changed careers when I was 44. uuuhhhh....make that 29 (for the 15th time). :o)
