ooooohhhh look i have a yellow one!


ooooohhhh look i have a yellow one! (tigridia canariensis)

thought they were all pink, and then yesterday up popped this creamy yellow one, not sure which i like best, they both fit in nicely with the colour harmony in the woodland bed.

thanks Nadia, to be honest it is not strictly a woodland plant, i thrives best in sun, but will do semi shade, but a sheltered spot is good, i call this area in my garden the woodland bed because it is as the base of 3 trees, but because it is south east facing the front and side of it get quite a lot of sun, which opens the scope for what i can grow there. so the good new is you don't need a woodland garden to grow this plant! i got mine off ebay, have a look on there they are quite cheap to buy as bulbs.
