Leucospermum. New Zealand Tea Tree. Full tree. (Leucospermum)

Live and learn. I for the first time figured out how to reduce file size while keeping the original also.
Colorful!

You can walk under it and it doesn't overpower the yard. Only,it must take 20 years or more to reach this size.

That great it does nt overpower the garden Lol I ll be dead in 20 years.

Glad to see you managed to make the photo smaller.

I've probably seen in the past. :>))

How's the mango tree on Bruce Dr?

Boy,that tree is really famous...and inspiring. I've talked to a few people now who made the "pilgrimage" to visit the tree. One guy here in Hayward bought a 7 gallon Glenn and he's ready to plant it now. He also has grafted Star Fruit and other exotic fruit tree's. He's not the only one thats been to Bruce ave.
I haven't been to the tree since late last summer. But,in May I will return ,that the the usual first flush here. Although my little Champagne has flushed twice already..its a dwarf. I dont see this ever being more then a Condo type mango.
I got the Papaya seeds going Andy. In my best custom mix!

That's great! I love hearing inspirational gardening stories. I know star fruit trees are pretty tough if they're protected a little when young. I want to get some starfruit and start the seeds.

I'm so glad people are growing more mango trees up there in the favorable areas. I think the dwarf or "congo" varieties are the best. They're very popular here, also. Most people don't have huge properties to grow a large mango tree. Also, up there small mango trees are more easy to protect.

I hope your Thai Dwarf papayas come up soon! I planted Maradol, Thai Dwarf and Red Caribbean seeds a few weeks ago and they're all coming up over the last week. I think you'll see that the Thai Dwarf papaya plants will grow so much faster than Maradol papayas. I saw the pics of when I planted the seed and put into the ground in 2015. My plants grew to more than 4' in October from seed planted in April.
