Thanks all ... I saw this climber growing in amongst vegetables in an open garden ... blowed if I can remember where though! ... Then saw a pic Cinders had posted of the same climber and decided to sow some seeds ... such a shame they're hidden behind a tall Zebra grass now ... bad planning on my part ... :o((

Well, there are Mice and Frogs if that counts ... lol! ... Perhaps you could thread your Clematis through the Zebra grass ............

Lol,Shirley..it threaded itself ..around the Pyracantha!...but as it was hiding behind the grass..I never noticed :o(

This is lovely Shirley it doesn't look very Mini how tall is it please ?
21 Aug, 2012
It is Mina not Mini, Amy ... :o) and the height it reaches is a mystery as I have read up on this climber and some books state height of up to 10ft., others no more than 3ft.! ... These two plants are about 2ft. tall but growing well and should last until the first frosts ... I shall report back in the future! ... :o)

Thanks, T'bear ... it may look delicate but is quite hardy according to my books .......

We grew it last year, Cinders had one when she visited our garden, did not grow any this time, like to try something different each year, so the visitors have something different to look at lol

It's hidden by a Zebra grass, Dotty - I really should have planted it to grow up a pergola - not the garden fence - lesson learnt - :o)
