This small tree from Japan is outside at Oxfords Botanic gardens.

Hi Meanie. This photo is lovely. The tiny flowers on it look like miniature fushia blooms. Have you noticed this?

Lin - not the greatest shot as the flowers were about ten foot up and the sun shining through the leaves was causing exposure problems.
I'll pop back on a more overcast day anyway, so watch this space.
The tree itself has a little shelter from a tall wall, but is clearly do-able in our climate, and I must say that I am tempted to give one a go.
