Don't know a lot...but have talked to the lady for whom the house was built. It started as an equipment shed...was moved to this site, which was then a logging camp...and placed on a foundation, doors, windows and roof later...it was home. Have a pic elsewhere of the Birmingham steel machete that I found in the floor of the shed and these pieces were unearthed nearby. One of the previous owners did a lot of work filling in the area where I want to excavate for a pond!! ironic...it was swampy before and I suppose it was a good idea at the time...but I really would prefer to have the water. Still hoping for my duck pond.

Crickey! . . . the one on the right looks like a replacement toe for a T. Rex!

You've been reading too much Crichton! I know of a Welder who has fashioned a blackwidow spider out of an old VW bug and some girders. perhaps I should try a dig...(paleontological) to see if the other "claw" is anywhere about...then do some recon at the local tip to see if there are any likely parts about to construct a velociraptor! Need a welder to help...(what a dreamer.) Interesting idea, though.

They paraded some fantastic gizmos at the Paralympicsl closing parade made of bits and bobs. One on the left looks like Neptunes trident hit a rock. Looks like a part off some sort of harrow. Best we can do on our shed is a horseshoe for luck......but not much of that recently!

sorry to hear that, Dorjac. May you have better luck soon! Have a horseshoe above the door but placed it over some existent nails and it was upside down...my cousin saw it and nearly had a conniption...Turn it right side up...NOW...it's bad luck that way! she said. So things are all situated in a lucky manner now...lol. These bits and pieces are sure to belong to some kind of machinery...just not sure what!
