Mountain Pepper
Genus: Drimys.
Species: Drimys aromatica.
2/8/10 Lge. evergreen shrub with glossy dark green leaves poducing copper tinted new growth and creamy white flowers in April-May. 2m. Sheltered spot in sun or semi-shade with a moist but well-drained soil.
Growing up at the back right corner. It does it's own thing. I've never pruned it. It's lovely in winter when the low sun hits the red stems.
