Agapanthus 'Gayle's Lilac' - African Lily

This plant is beside the gravel seating area...right in front of the silver birch nearest to the metal arch. It likes it's roots congested, so it does well there. it flowers July-September.

Herbaceous - clump-forming perennial.

Semi-evergreen - Keeps some of its foliage all year, and will drop some leaves as well.

Half hardy - Plant can withstand temperatures down to 0°C (32°F) it has survived two very cold winters no problem. I think it is much hardier than this! No need to do anything to it at all. It will be quite happy there for a good few years yet.
