Stipa tennuissima 'Ponytails'
Genus: Stipa.
Species: Stipa tenuissima.
Grows to around 2ft, lovely soft fluffy grass, in spring don't cut back just run fingers throungh to remove any dead foliage, seeds around here.
Have several of these long left hand border, border in front of kitchen, nursery bed and couple in pots in greenhouse, must resist urge to pot them all up :-)
