Spring is on it's way in.

Wednesday morning, I took the bus to town & passed a large front garden full of snowdrops & yellow crocus, what a lovely sight it was too. This morning I went into the back garden (06:00) to do a spot of Tai Chi when I heard my first frog chorus of this year. Combined with the waterfall sound it’s a great start to the day.

I am a winter baby. Late January I love the snow & ice (on Christmas cards, post cards & pictures)

Ah yes, the rain. If I am dressed for it & going on a long walk in the country, I love it. For the simple reason that very few people will walk in it, thereby leaving me in peace & quiet. I had a 10 mile walk in Somerset some years ago, fully kitted out for the weather, on my way back to the start I called into a cafe at Blue Anchor Bay, ordered a coffee, & took it outside where I sat & enjoyed it. I had some very strange looks from customers as they walked/jogged in....Well, it would not be fair to soak a seat in the cafe now would it ;-) ?

I agree about the rain keeping people indoors. Everywhere is crowded in sunny weather. I think I would have enjoyed your rainy walk lol
