Fantastic Brian. All so neat and tidy and lovely lot of flowers. The ones you sent me last year have survived the winter outside, with a little protection, but after seeing yours I think I shall pot them up and keep them in the greenhouse.

Wonderful work, congratulations ! I have potted all mine up now and brought inside, hoping for some flowers too. How often should I water them ?

These will never be in the open garden as such but I do run out of room under glass sometimes.

Dianne I assume yours are primroses if you are just potting, they will probably flower April/May.
Although mine are the same family they are somewhat more perenial and different in cultivation.

labels although unsightly are essential as lots of the leaves are similar on the primulas.
like your Hepaticas,i have a whole pot full of the colbat blue one germinating from last years saved seed it was sown green, so about 10 months ago

i suspect you will have Hepatica transsilvanica. if not would you like a bit. I find it very garden hardy and not a thug as such but a generous grower.

What a marvelous selection of plants Brian, all so colourful , I love the Hepaticas , I try not to grow too many greenhouse plants we have such a water shortage here the hose pipe ban is being enforced in April , apparently there will be a shortage of Potatoes as the farmers will not be able to water them as much as they need to ....
