Today in the gardens. I love the patterns which are made more obvious by the frost:
Hebe
Pittosporum
Verbena bonariensis
Geranium
Rose
Carex
Geum
Heuchera and ajuga
Euphorbia
Anemone
Keep warm everyone.

Snap [cold snap too] Our pond has a complete sheet of ice and it has stayed below 0C all day -1C when we went out at 8.30 and still that when we came back at 3pm. Lots of feed out for the birds, they are going to need it bless them.

Beautiful photos, I do love the velvety look to the Pittosporum.

It can't be as cold here yet as it is just the bird baths that are frozen.
I love all your pictures Ange but the Euphorbia and Verbena is striking!

All looking so pretty. I don’t mind the frost! Cold, wet is much worse.

Thanks, all.
Yes, the frost does look lovely but it's a shock to the system first thing in the morning! We haven't defrosted for the last few days but the sunshine makes it bearable and beautiful. And, as Sbg says, we've had to venture out to feed the birds as their need is very great at the moment. They line up in the morning waiting for us to come outside.

Ange, greenhouse temperature was 26 degrees F. this morning so I'm hoping my cuttings survive! Michael filled the bird feeders up with Sunflower hearts and Fat Balls after our breakfast. So funny to watch a Magpie flapping his/her wings while trying to peck at the Fat Balls . .. without much success!

Sorry I'm late again Ange, playing catchup, I'm suffering with a chest infection and ashma playing up so only been popping on for a few mins at a time...
Did go down to check out my plants and succulents in the g'house yesterday, thankfully despite the temp all is well so far, didn't hang around for long enough to take photo's, if I had they would have been sparkley like yours which are lovely, you must have been really cold taking all of those, the gardens look pretty with their white covering, even the leaves that are still lying around..

I hope you're improving by the day, Lincs and are keeping warm despite the horrid weather. It looks pretty but, my goodness, it's seasonal out there!

Nice patterns, it's strange how something so pretty can come from such horrible weather :)
