bay trees

hi my bay trees are a bit worst for wear they have gone all brown. i don’t know why? i have them a few years now and not sure of the problem. it could of been the frost?? i have watered them and not too much. also 2 of them get sun and 2 of the are not getting any. not sure whats up? please someone help? thanks alex graham.

Hi Alex. Welcome to GoY. Maybe the frost has damaged your bay. If you scratch the bark away a little bit and find it green underneath, that will tell you it is still alive.
