Even though we should be used to it by now I'm still amazed at how big it all is! Favourites this time are the lemon hellebores. The last pond looks very shallow - our new one is shallower than it was supposed to be so it would be interesting to know what you do with it - is it too shallow for a few little native fish or is it just for frogs and plants?
What a very pretty little corydalis - is it Beth Chatto and does it have to be grown under glass?

The pond is actually about a meter deep. No fish or frog spawn, but dozens of newts.
The Corydalis is C. solida Beth Evans and no it can be grown outside. We have them in with the snowdrops.

I wonder why it looks so shallow in the photo. I'm hoping for newts as I saw one in the garden last year and next door have them. I wonder why I said Chatto instead of Evans. I knew I was losing it...
