That's a beautiful heuchera, and a lovely pot too, so I think your blurry eyes did you a favour!;)

Now - there's a reason I've never thought to give when buying too much for the garden. Thank you - I'll keep that one up my sleeve ;)

I'm sure , when the blurriness(is there such a word?) wears off, you will realise your mistake and take them straight back!!!!!

Ha ha. Enjoy your new plant with your new spectacles.

Lol Gee, Love your "mistakes" It's amazing how garden centres can lure us through their doors no matter what ;o)

Brilliant Gee......hope your eyes get better ;)

You made me laugh Gee. I went to the Optician on Wednesday. The letter said I would have drops in my eyes which might make my eyes blurry for a time. After the examination I was given a leaflet which said i might not be able to drive for 24 hours after having those drops. I had visions of spending the night in the car in the car park. I risked it after about an hour and a half and got home safely but I'll be taking OH with me in future. I will need to find an Optician near a garden centre because this one has nothing like that. That is a beautiful heuchera and the little alpine pot is sweet. I hope you have something to put in it.

I think most of us have made similar "mistakes" in our time, and most don't have the alibi that you have!

I've had drops in my eyes also. the hospital said that my vision would be blurred for some hours - then sent me off, alone, to cross a major road and get a bus home!

Thank you all, for your comments. I found it very difficult walking back to the bus stop with blurry eyes - the sunshine seemed to make it worse. It finally wore off about 7pm last night.

Scotsgran, I am in negotiation with a neighbour for an unused upturned 'butler' sink she has in her garden! I hope to make an alpine garden and I thought the little pot would give some additional height to the overall scheme. No plants yet just in case the deal doesn't come off :)

Great purchases Gee even though you couldnt really see what you wre buying with your Blurry eyes, I hope you manage to obtain the Butler Sink I left mine behind at the cottage 6years ago, the removal men said it was too heavy and awkard to carry, my one big regret!

But Im off t Spec savers on Wednesday and I have to pass a number of market plant stalls so I may also get blurry eyes then there will be no stopping me lol

I hop on the bus when I go for my yearly 'blurry eye' experience. Charity shops and a supermarket are nearbye, so I go to those before I get the drops. It really does dazzle on leaving, so I have some clip ons with me. No garden centre near to. There is one at the bottle bank. So that's a good excuse. Also one down a country lane near my dentist, so another opportunity! Lovely blog Gee.

Surprising how many opportunities we can spot to visit a GC, isn't it, Dorjac? My daughter thinks I have some kind of homing instinct when I draw near one :)
