Pesky dandelions again invaded my lawns. Blinking weeds will not tangle with my beautyful grass and survive. Granpa weeder at the ready and weed and feed my first line of attack tomorrow if the weather is ok. Then i intened to cut some shelve strips for my coldframe project, again if the weather allows. My good lady also wants me to repair Tiny,s(The Budgie,s) play station since he thinks its part of his dailey diet. He nibbled his way through his swing and fell of it as a result. If i could trust him not to fly away i would set him up to eat the blinking Dandelions, that would really fill his tummey. Going to build a growbag cradle as soon i complete the coldframe but so much depends on the weather. All plants doing fine and the cuttings are improving dailey Take care Tony

I think this must be a bumper year for dandelions. I've never seen so many.

I had to laugh at the thought of Tiny falling off his swing because he's nibbled it, good job he's got wings.

I agree, loads more dandelions this year than usual.

Hi jaykaty Yes Tiny does get up to being a little villain . His frequent little mishap is when he walks backwards out of his cage. He drops a little then flies off onto my shoulder. Take care Tony

Hi Tony!! Does Tiny make a 'beep! beep! beep!' sound when he reverses out of his cage, or just a wee squeak as he does a backward flip?! How are you my friend? And Tiny...and most importantly, your good lady! I've Missed you! Just had a trawl through your blogs! My goodness! I'm nearly as busy as you!! Lol! The new business is (touch Tiny's wooden leg!) doing really well Tony, we're as busy as bees, we have about eight gardens on the go now, the latest one is, gulp, seven and a half acres! It's really hard work, and I shouldn't call it that, because, when you're doing something you love, you never work a day in your life! I'm busily growing away at the unusual grasses, for the landscape man, it's still so weird carefully pricking out potfuls of grass...I'm usually ripping it out of people's flowerbeds! Lots of fun though! Although it makes it so difficult to get time to get back in contact my lovely friends on Goy, but you're having the honour of being the first! Hopefully I'll be able to nip on more now, and really take the time to bother you properly! Lol! so, ta ta for now, Capt'n and I'll see you soon!x

Ecky thump me number one,s on the prowl(loL). Hi Elizabeth nice to hear from you and that your project is prospering. Not much happening here except new floor in the shed and the odd stick of Dynamite taped under it. Rose said you had desighns on my rich tea stock so i had to bug the floor. Tiny also is prepaired to confront intruders. He is training his beak to eat his playstation . Little devil is very loyal. Elizabeth are you responsible for my dandelion invasion? Having said that it was nice to learn you,r ok and still chirpy beep beep. Now you have me doing it. Rose gone into the sun, she is on hols and having a rest. I think her jam production went through the ceiling, i tried it on the roof and ended up with 36 stuck pigions and a digruntled pussy cat . Takecare princess try to take it easy Tony

Ecky thump to you too! I knew I smelt dynamite in the palace! And there's me just nipping over to give Tiny a few pointers on his Olympic training, oh, didn't you know? He's qualified for the synchronised diving, his partner is Tom Daley, the young diving lad, only they couldn't find anyone petite enough to train with him, but, thank goodness, Tiny stepped up to offer his services! The worrying thing is, that he's only gone and eaten two of the diving boards, and it really hasn't gone down well... I told him he needed a wee cuppa to wash them down with, but would he listen? No! Well, anyhoo, his training's going very well, he's nothing if not a diligent, hard working budgie, and his new Olympic kit is smashing on him! So, when you next see him walking backwards out of his cage, you'll know that he's only putting in some practise on his speciality dive, which one's that? The 'Beakward Flap, in Pecked Position' of course!! Chortle! Oh dear! I promise I have nothing to do with your onslaught of dandelions, I could do you some grasses though? No? I got a text from Rose on Friday, and the weather on her hols has been awful, rainy and really cold, poor wee soul, I hope it improves soon for them! Are the pigeons still stuck on the roof? Better watch they don't gang up and realise that if all 36 flapped at the same time, they'll could do more than just take off, they could take your roof off too!! Take care Tony!

Hi Number one Tiny tickety boo about your compliments he likes your drift and admires your good taste in athletes. Unfortunately he is as nutty as coconut and eating me out of timber perches. I tried to restrict his diet to vals finger but alas he is now trying to devour her wedding and engagement rings. He is such a itzy bitzy vulture we may have to treat him to a free rest in the oven with a few roast potatoes (LoL). Any way Elizabeth Rose told me you were on new medication which was better for you. Glad to hear that and by all accounts its brought the chirp back into your comments(LoL). Talking about chirp blooming heck my shed roofs vanished, keep your eye,s to the east Elizabeth one shed roof on the way. Sorry Rose having bad weather like yourself two very nice ladies. Hope your business prospers Elizabeth. Always nice to hear from you take care Tony
