I live in East Sussex, which seems to be the driest part of the country. Our garden is about 90foot long sloping up from our bungalow. The soil is heavy clay but we have little problem with most plants. We have mixed borders of shrubs and perennials and I also grow vegetables, the usual beans, onions,garlic corn etc. I redesigned the garden about four years ago, we moved into the bungalow six years ago, and am pleased with the result although us gardeners are never satisfied are we?
