Red themed pot
Red themed pot
Posted on 12 Jul, 2008 9 comments
After Grenville’s blog on color, texture and form. I decided to put together a pot with a red theme. I purchased 4 plants I thought looked good together and were varied in texture and form. I thought a red petunia was too much red so I decided a contrast of white was appropriate. So here it is.
I used this for it’s texture with a red accent
and I used this for its deep red flowers.

Its got the wow factor!!!
Well done, the textures and shades of red are lovely with the touch of white just to take some of the 'heat and fire' away. Perfect for bringing an exotic theme to the garden.
I'm pleased that you found my Blog helpful.
All best wishes,
Grenville.

Now there are some people who think putting red and white together is bad luck (something to do with wounds and dressings in hospitals I believe). But as I have a red and white border, I am not one of them. Go for it
