Our Son's Wedding - as promised!!

It has been an emotional few weeks but I would love to share with you some happy memories of our son’s wedding.

What made it extra special was my first meeting with Bloomer and her husband. It really did make my day complete and I felt as if we had been friends for years! She is that kind of lady, so warm and sincere.

Here we are with my twin grandsons who behaved so well handing out the orders of service to everyone.

Now to the happy couple!

Here is the cake, the reception and the lovely grounds of Wortley Hall.

It was a truly perfect day with smiles and a few tears and so many wonderful memories.

May their future be filled with many more wonderful memories to add to these!

Thank you for sharing such a special day with us. Your outfit was lovely, but as for the bride...she looked positively magical, like a princess. Your son looked so happy, and so he should. It seems you all had a wonderful day.
As for Bloomer...isn't she a lovely lady? I'm so lucky to count her amongst my GoY friends too.

What beautiful photos, beautiful wedding , beautiful couple. Am I the only Goyer not to be photographed with That flipping Bloomer? Did she photobomb you? wouldn't put it past her ... You both looked lovely:-)

Oh Ba that did make me laugh!

Wish we could all get together somewhere, sometime! I would love to do that.

It was a lovely wedding and I still relive the day but where Bloomer came from goodness knows!!!

Lol Chris, I thought as much:-) My problem is I don't have a car and, even if I did, I can't drive. I did meet some Goyers at the Malvern show a couple of times as I can catch a coach locally, and I did meet up with some in Bristol after (bravely) catching a bus in Brum. One day I will join the ranks of the (Bloomer) blessed....:-))))

That Ba turns up at the least unexpected times, doesn't she Chris? such a cheek ,almost a month after the Wedding too..of course if she had read MY blog About Wentworth village, she would have known we had been invited to come and watch the Wedding..Take no notice,Chris, she is just trying to muscle in as usual..I really thought she had set sail on Johnjoes ship, but no such luck ! Lol are you reading this,Ba? love you really :o) xxxx

At least I didn't muscle in on some poor unsuspecting wedding guest's photo unlike someone I could mention harrumph:-[

Where COULD we meet up?

No more weddings planned so that's out!!!

A cruise on the QE2 perhaps?!!

11 Aug, 2015

That'll do me Chris:-)

12 Aug, 2015

13 Aug, 2015

Oh Chris, don't get Ba started with any ideas on a cruise, you just know we would all be crew! :o)
