A short walk on part of the Annandale way a 54mile walk in Dumfries & Galloway with lots of surprising views.

Peace & tranquility this path leads to…..

the river,it was so tempting to have a dip.

The water was low the marsh marigolds were still lovely.

Water crowfoot was in abundance.

The rhododendrons were a magnet for the bees.

Lots of pink campion too

Carpets of bluebells with their lovely perfume filling the air

And then who should I meet but the teddy bears having a picnic, time for a sit down & a nice cup of tea.

That was most enjoyable! Lovely pics and entertaining words. I must remember to get 'Big Ted' down from the loft for the little Great-Grandsons' visits. They already have the farm animals, bricks and old Dinkie, Corgie cars that are now in the hands of the 3rd generation but I think there are a few more treasures tucked away.
