Loved the story ! ive got 5 plants on the go just now and pleading with the Tomatoes to start turning red , last year was awful and I got 1 red Tom !

I didnt really by the way ! just thought it might make people laugh first thing this morning and wonder .....did she really ?? lol

I bought this one this year as well and accidently gave it away to a neighbour !! lol , its starting to flower and looks good , im not too worried il get it back at the end of the year to over winter it for her and get cuttings in the spring

My fuchsias are very slow to flower this year as well , but are starting to show buds at last , the Begonias on the other hand are amazing , never a dull moment with plants eh ? you never know whats going to heppen with them ! lol

you will love the greenhouse , i really wouldnt want to be without mine now , you can still be in the garden when its raining all nice and dry in the greenhouse its great

P.S . I ALWAYS pour the sachet of gel into an old milk carton or similar and add water to it BEFORE I mix it in with the compost , that way its all swollen and you know its not gonni swell up in your bag and burst it

I also grew Lobelia one year and the bottom plants failed but it wasnt due to lack of water they seemed to rot away with getting too much as the water drained down , I water from above , I do have water retaining gel / slow release fertiliser in the bags which I buy from Poundland , I think its great stuff .you get 6 sachets in the box I use 1 sachet per bag and mix it through the compost as I put it in . If you bag dries out completely you can stand it in a bucket of water for about 5 mins but dont go away and forget about it you will come back to drowned plants ! lol . Hope this helps you Buzzbee

Its just too easy to throw away and buy new next year eh ? and lets be honest the garden centres are exactly helpful at giving you info on how to keep them after flowering

mmm . the only thing I can think is different is ive got the small tubs at the path ? Eddie thinks it looks like a runway for the bees , lol .

I love these hanging pouches , been using them for a few years now, some of my neighbours have them as well , Asda also sell them . I find Marigolds do really well in them .
