Wow those are extremely tiny. Will you mix them with sand to sow them evenly?

On question - How to collect seeds from Dahlia?
This really looks great. Is this not a mimulus, monkey flower? We've got them wild from here down through california. Yours looks so vigorous culitivated. :-)

For many years I have been recycling my egg-boxes:
the paper-based ones I use first to sit seed potatoes in when chitting them, then they are used again to grow seeds. The seedlings' roots do not need to be disturbed when they are potted on, the carton section is repotted too.
The plastic ones are used as propagator covers for seeds grown in egg boxes, thereafter they make excellent disposable paint-mixing palettes for children.

Usually Wilkinsons have a fair range of reasonably priced bulbs at this time of the year but last Saturday I was disappointed, they had a very limited range.
When I next go to visit my Mother in Oxon I think I shall go via Aylesbury's Lidl.

Haha, Lyd. Sorry but, for reasons I'll explain soon, the GOY "Haggis" BBQ has had to be postponed meantime. How about December? The weather may be better then!
