I don’t know if anybody else has mentioned this yet but Garden Answers magazine has a special offer of 16 pot-ready Echinacea ‘Paradiso’ plants in a tray for just the postage cost of £3.95. If you don’t want or can’t get the magazine the offer is online at www.suttons.co.uk/ga110

Good tip Wagger. Although I won't take advantage as NO ROOM in my borders. Also, I find Echinacea very slow to establish in my clay soil. In fact some bare roots I planted years ago never did grow!
Thre are great bargains to be had out there!!

I'm the same as Paulthegardener...its a bit too chilly up here for Echinacea, thats why I grow Heucheras instead and have become very fond of them.

I was all ready for this and then read Paul's comments about clay soil! Bother!! Maybe I would be better trying one or two before I go the whole hog :)
