Firstly thank you so much for all your messages/comments of support. It’s really appreciated. Richard has now completed his 5 week course of Radiochemotherapy and apart from one or two side effects, the worst being fatigue, he’s doing well, so far so good.
We’re now waiting for the dates for his two operations, but they won’t be for a few weeks yet, meanwhile he’s in the ‘rest period’ when the treatment received thus far continues to work in his body.
The Oncologist has agreed to him going on holiday, saying it would probably do him good. We’ve therefore booked a week in Portugal next month…and to say we can’t wait would be putting it mildly. Struggling to the hospital in the bad weather has been awful at time, so some real sunshine will be very welcome.
I’m continuing to bob in and out of GoY to see what you’re all up to and to make the odd comment/like. I’m hoping it won’t be too long before I can get out into the garden and get my fingernails grubby. You see, I’m easily please lol!

And gardening, "any day now" is also what we're all pining for: I intend to get my fingers dirty this weekend :)
