Took myself off to the Wyvale GC near us this afternoon as it wasn’t fir to do any more gardening and I didn’t want to miss out on the bargains. I didn’t do quite as well as Amy, but did manage to get 6 Cyclamens for just £1, A Pyracantha for £3, a gorgeous purple flowering Hebe for £2 (no name I’m afraid) and a Heuchera Plum Pudding. I just wish I’d had room in the garden for more, as it is most of these will have be put into tubs/lrg pots. While wandering around I did notice a very colourful member of staff, singing beautifully.

Hope the weather isn’t too bad this weekend ad that you all get chance to enjoy sometime in your gardens. :)

Well done Waddy! I've got GC vouchers, which I usually use to buy Christmas tree. But it's going to rain all day again tomorrow, so I might go shopping for a cold frame and see if there are any bargains to be had while I'm there. Don't Robins have a beautiful song! :)

Just looked up Wyvale Sandra - our nearest seems to be Carmarthen! By the time we got there they'd be sold out of bargains.

Pam; That sounds like a good bargain! Perhaps a bag of compost for Christmas? Only joking lol!!

Sandra; Rehearsal? Have I read you right?Sprouts already! When on earth did you put them on?

Karen; Go for it girl, you deserve a cold frame and a bargain or two. Yes, they do sound wonderful don't they? especially on a cold wintery day.

Stera; Oh dear, that's a shame, still think of what your saving by NOT being tempted :)

We went to our Wyville Gc. yesterday and like you Waddy got some bargains. Two grasses one half price the other 75%off, tulips half price and some winter pansies for my daughter £2., so I came home with a smile on my face:-))) also got some new slippers, there was a Padders outlet there....another smile:-)

Well done Gralew, your GC must be a lot bigger than ours, nothing like a Padders outlet, not even a cafe!

Thanks Gail. They have a Cotton Traders, Peacocks(too young for me), a huge Restaurant, and guess who's coming today.....Yes it's Santa!!!!!There is also a kitchen shop(can't remember the name at the moment) and an Edinburgh wool shop on the same site, so it's well worth going and not too far either.

No Bloomer not Coley as it happens, but do call there again if you're passing, they've got new staff and a far better carry on. It's much more worth a look nowadays.

Gralew; Lol! You're forgiven and I'll keep it in mind about the photos.

Waddy I've been pushing them in gaps and am secretly worried as to what might already be there as I can't tell now the majority of the plants have died down !
