sore knee

Well after neglecting my garden for the last 2 years,due to bad arthritis on my knees, i,m slowly getting things done.
I replaced one of the fence panels this morning in the back garden and it was a nightmare, took me over an hour to smash up the old concrete that held the post.
I used a pickaxe and a iron bar…. I was that knackered that I missed the iron bar and the hammer smashed into my kneecap..lol.
I thought that I had broke the kneecap, and was rolling on the grass in agony when I glanced up to the neighbours window to see if anyone saw me (as you do), to see wee holly the neighbours 6 year old daughter laughing at me, she shouts… “mum, come and see what daft thomas done”.. I quickly made a hasty exit into the house..
luckily I never did any serious damage, just a bruised knee and ego.
I managed to get the fencepost up eventualy.
that,s what I get for neglecting the garden.

I had a good look at members garden photo’s and have plenty of ideas for next year. This year is about getting repairs done and seeing what will grow where, hopefully by next year i,ll have my garden pretty enough to show off.

Aren,t we daft beggars,always the first thought who might be looking not which bit hurts lol.good luck with your repairs getting the job done is what counts not how long it takes.......
