Small walled garden, disabled so struggle with carrying heavy things. Patio etc. I try but half the things seem to die!
Live near Clifton Suspension bridge in Clifton, UK. garden is south facing and really private owing to LARGE Tulip tree at bottom of garden. Sadly, as this tree should never have been planted in a small suburban gaarden (damn those Victorians!) the tree is now so large and tall (nearly 90 feet) it is pushing out the back wall which in turn is pulling out the side walls.... large dispute with Council as tree needs to be felled. Hey ho.
Have found that garden likes Azaleas, Acers and Fig Tree, but has no interest in the vast amount of money I used to pour into buying specialist Pansies or anything expensive. Went into spasms of delight last week as I saw 2 Goldfinches on bird table. So did my cat, but she didn't get one..
