Hi trud's this weather is so depressing isnt it, at the moment here it has started to rain againnnnnnnnn, according to the forecasters its meant to be like this right thru the weekend.

You could always send the rain over here. Bit of light stuff earlier today but that's the first for well over a week now. Even yesterday's thunderstorm failed to materialise. It was even dry here while it was raining at Wimbledon!

I even had to get the hose out yesterday - my plants were crying out for a drink! We had a little bit in the night and another shower this evening - more forecast - we shall wait and see. Sorry you've got too much.

Susiespearing

We've been the same as Andrew in Northants.Little spatter today and that's about it.I even had to water my new plantings in the rain as I couldn't trust it to water them in.
