Well my first show as chairman and it went well. By all account it was a big success and better than previous years.

Not down to me obviously but I did boost the cooking entries.

Well the results my coffee and walnut tray bake got 2nd.

My fruit cake got 2nd.

Pelergonium got 1st.

Fairy door got 2nd and it was also sold.

Also between my wife and myself we picked up 2nd and 3rd for cactus, 1st and 2nd for succulant.
3rd for apples.

My carrots were tiny.

Can you spot my small carrots?

Now my wife scooped three 1st, in the baking

Bread pudding, cheese scones and the fairy cakes also won best in show.
So she now has another trophy and a large rosette.

Some of the trophies to be won.

Some of the veg.

Some of the flowers.

And some of the floral arrangements.

It was a fantastic show we also made some money on teas/coffee and cake, raffle and plant stall to the sum of about £170.00

But that is it for another year.

A big WELL DONE from me T&T, It looks like the competition was very stiff and there were a lot of entries.
Just shows what you can acheive if you put your mind to it. Are you becoming another Hugh Fernley Whittingstall? Lol
Big cngratulations to Mrs. T&T as well. :~))

Congratulations on your first show as Chairman, t&t, it seems that it all went very well. The first year is always nervewracking - but it does get easier a the years go on. Congratulations on your entries as well, they look good.
