Sun is shining, birds are visiting even the Jays.

Sat here having a quick flick through the pages of GOY and out the corner of my eye I see two visitors turn up in the garden.
I had only just come in as I realised the bird feeder was on the ground, having not been done up properly so there is quite a bit of seed on the grass.
Sorry for the pics being a little grainy but I only have a point and press, and I didnt want to chance going outside as they would have surley flown away.
Sun is out and visitors arrive.

jays are lovely. i see them in the woods. not enough trees in my garden for them to visit me.

I was surrounded by woods in the old place. Maybe that's whi I saw lots of them then.

we keep planting trees in the hope that one day we will live in a woodland...;-))
last summer we had a woodpecker and a suirrel come and visited but they ddn't stay long maybe they will return when our trees are bigger...

We don't get Jays here, though they were frequent visitors in Kent. Lovely colour, aren't they!

They see me coming aswell, although my camera i do have to get fairly close to what ever i'm taking a photo of, enjoyed your photos & blog.

What a lovely surprise to have these appear in the garden. I see them about in the wooded areas near here but never by the pond unfortunately.

Wow you did well to get these photos - I only ever seem to spot the rear end of a jay dissappearing into the distance!

Now I know what these birds are. I'm not very good on birds. I used to see lots of these in the old garden but never knew what they were called.
