A sunny day

A sunny day

I would first of all like to thank everyone on this site for giving me a bit of encouragement in the naming game and also thank you very much for the likes/comments on my garden.

Ive mentioned before that if it’s not raining and I’m not at work I’m out side.

As it’s half term I’ve had today off, so a couple of hour’s out side edging the beds, tidying, fishing leaves out the pond oh and i’ve gone for planting my Dahlia tubers into the ground now. I have some saved in pots if it dosen’t work out.

Pot’s, not too much room in the green house. I have new seeds being sown almost weekly at the moment. Not that I can blame anyone but me as I’m the one doing the sowing. I have several pot’s of lilies all starting to show signs of life, which is great but I cant remember which one is which colour. ( I will and I have started to label properly).

Oh before I go here is a pic of my willow dome starting to burst into life again.\

Hi Treesandthings, which part of the country do you live in? Up here in Yorkshire it was halfterm last week, but it has been really cold and very rosty here of late, I am putting off my seed sowing for a couple of weeks till it warms up as I dont have a heated greenhouse.

It's half-term down here this week - and the little monkeys have been playing in the stream which goes through our garden and then out across the lane (a ford), runs alongside the lane for about 20 metres before diverting again. They have been damming the stream with big stones taken from walls, plus sticks and lumps of grass. Trouble is that being a narow lane, some people have to drive into the stream to get past tractors etc. It also of course floods the lane and no, there isn't a footpath. Little treasures! In a small hamlet like ours with no public transport there's not much to do except get up to mischief!
