Busy Sunday afternoon in the Sun in September.

Back from the garden centre with my bargin Box for £16.00.

I didn’t go to buy a box but I happened to walk past it and I thought I can do something with that, a quick chat with my wife to confirm we should buy it.

\

A few snips later and a different pot and i am now the proud owner of a very cheaper version of the expensive topiary they sell in the garden centres. A couple of years and a few more trims and it should look ok.

\

While i was doing this my wife was busy with her ever growing collection of sempervivums.

\

She has decided to take these from their various homes in other pots and the butler sink and put them in one of her new pots she bought the other day.

\

As you can see I think it looks fantastic. The pot is about 12” and she is now waiting for them all to grow and fill out.

As well as these two little projects, we also managed a bit of weeding a cup of coffee with coffee and walnut cake.
A good day out in the sun in September.

Dragon or a Harley, as much as I would love either I feel confident to clip a ball and thats about my limit.

But who knows, if I find one that resembles either I might give it a go.

In no time at all you will be creating dragons riding Harleys in topiary, Dan :-D
Lovely sempervivum arrangement, a beautiful way to display a collection.
What an enjoyable way to spend a Sunday afternoon in September.
