Open garden on 18th July

As chairman of Waterlooville & District Garden Club, we have decided to open our gardens for a day.

There will be 5 of us in total and one garden is dedicated to doing teas and cake.
The gardens will be open from 2 – 4.30 and some will have plants for sale.

Mine is one of those being open on the day, so here are a few pics as it is today.

A month to go before opening, lots have already come and gone, Oriental Poppies, Aqualigias some roses for example.
Hopefully all the pther plants will be blooming strongly on the day. A lot of expectations on other roses and dahlias, as well as clematis.

The garden is split into different areas making use of the soil, shade, damp, dry and sun. There are still lots of plants I would like but that always costs so slowly does it.

The garden is in its 4th year as it was previously just a lawn.

You are all welcome on the 18th July if you are in the area.

I'll have to make do with your lovely photographs - too far for me sadly. Your tree ferns look magnificent!

Thanks for the comments guys. I have only ever had family and the odd garden club member have a quick look around before we have had a meeting at our house see the garden.
Im looking forward to seeing what people think about it and the planting.

I know somethings have grown a lot quicker than others and some things need moving but it will be interesting to see what is said. Will they be truthful I wonder?
