I'm so glad yours look like this too, because I started to worry when ours (much smaller and in a pot) lost all its leaves and now looks sad. When do they start to wake up again in the UK please?

I love local history. I spend a lot of time researching things in the winter. It's fascinating.

Tony ~ thanks for your p.m.
Please photograph other side of shed some time, so I can see the rest of the gutter etc.
Thanks.

I like the way you've put the gutter around your shed.
Does the water from your shed gutter go into a water butt?

Weeding, you say Feb. does that mean the berries are out in winter? Isn't the vine dormant then?

Ohh great, I am a real country girl and love to go for walks outof town. Nice picture. Only wild blackberries.....they are a menace here, taking over farms. Can you control them there? Do you pick them and make jam?
