The garden seat - finished at last

Hi all

You asked to see the finished article … so here it is.

Rained with that fine very wet stuff all day yesterday but i was determined to get it finished.

Final purchase was 4 – 12″ × 6′ log rolls and 4 x bags of bark mulch.

I already had the weed membrane so that saved a bit.

Work involved digging a small trench 6" deep. Burying the log roll and getting the levels correct.

Levelling off under the seat and laying the weed membrane.

Then filling the area with the mulch … oh yes and to finish it off …..

Add 6 Farthing stepping stones and all the gnomes that were laying around the garden doing nothing …. lazy things ….

Next job …. clear all the dead flowers from the front garden and replant with winter pansies ….

Glad you've rounded up those layabout gnomes Tony and put them to good use. The seat looks great now it's finished, what a shame the weather has taken a turn for something more seasonal now so you won't be able to do much sitting on it. Never mind......... no time for sitting with that front garden demanding attention! :o))
