Glorious Spring

Just had to put these photos up to show what greets me every morning when i walk out of the back gate to take the dog for a walk.
This 1st photo was taken on the 4th April this year – the lush green of the blubell leaves
This one was taken on the 10th April – Bluebells begining to show through
and this one is what all of the white spots in the distance are in the 2nd photo – the humble woodland anemone

Thanks grandmage and Stickitoffee. I'm hoping to get a photo just as they are all out ..... last year when we first looked at the bungalow before we purchased it, we looked out of the back gate and the whole of woodland floor was a deep blue ..... any day now...!!!!!

not surprised you bought it then!! when we bought this house the only thing i liked was the woods behind but we havent got all those bluebells or wood anemones

They are amazing together, our wood has bluebells and anenome out it looks great, lovely pictures thanks for posting that.
