About me

I'm a countryside ranger based in suffolk.
I've developed a wildlife garden, about the size of a tennis court, with help from local volunteers.
I involve groups of local school kids regularly and the emphasis is on wildlife-friendly gardening on a shoe-string budget, recycling and sharing where possible.
We're in our 4th year now and have scrounged 2 greenhouses, a shed, raised beds and lots of fly-tipped tyres as planters. We have made and sited bug boxes, nest boxes, toad tiles, log plies, a brick pile (for newts, toads etc), a small pond, a bug hotel and a compost heap.
We're no experts and if we learned by our mistakes, we'd all be geniouses!
Any suggestions, answers or help of any sort would be much appreciated!
