More roses in pots..

Well, Im down to the lower patio where I have more roses..
Denman this is a cream rose that had one fading flower when it arrived, had none since but it is sporting seven buds..so later
Summer Gold this poor baby contracted black spot within days of arriving. Some beautiful golden roses on the plant, almost too heavy for the stems. I stripped the leaves and they have now come back healthy, but a small plant yet.
Warm Wishes such a lovely colour rose this is, had several blooms already and another 3 or four have appeared and are just unfurling. Im liking this a lot.
Alfresco This is a climber. So far lots of growth and only 2 flowers. Bit disappointing as thought it would be more orangey in colour..it may need to mature.
Nostalgia this is its second year in a pot and did so well over winter that it gave me the idea for more pots. Lovely and healthy but havent smelled any perfume yet!
In the garden I have Pat Austin, Tickled Pink (not much smell but loads of roses), Lady Hillingdon growing on the arch, Sunset Boulevard unkindly hidden away under the lilac tree, and climbing Gertrude Jekyll and Margaret Merril in pots either side of the arbour. Gerty not doing too well this year..hardly any flowers at all.
And finally my climber on the wall..little fat yellow buds opening to a warm white, lovely citrus smell quite strong..but can I find the label? Its 3 years old and once I started to bend the canes it grew like Topsy..loads and loads and loads of roses in June and about to give a second enormous flush..its one I would highly recommend if only I could remember what its called….

Hi , and welcome to GoY
Sorry it's late lol
I've become more fond of roses as time has gone on. Never tried them in pots though. Maybe I will..
Your garden looks lovely :o)

Lovely garden Tetrarch. Funny but my Gerty has been awful this year too. I am going to move it...see if that helps. Perhaps I'll try it in a pot!...perhaps not! :)
