I love robins. I had company today too as I was sowing my parsnip seeds. She/he couldn't get through the mesh of the veg cage but stood in the door way chirping at me. definitely saying 'come on throw that worm to me'.

Its amazing how these Goyers are so clever at entertaining others. We are so lucky. Brightens up my day.

I am sitting watching the blogs with my feet in a hot Mustard powder footbath as suggested by Eirlys. This definitely works to get rid of Gout. Pronto. Found it mentioned in British Herbal by Nicholas Culpeper 400 years ago.
I couldnt find another tin of Mustard powder in Sainsburys yesterday, so asked a young lady assistant for help.
Then I told her why I wanted it. She was amazed.
She told me her mother had suffered dreadfully from Gout for several years. G.P. treatment had not been effective.
She had been sent for tests at the hospital. They said her Gout is caused by eating too much tinned fish.
So she went back to her shelf filling thrilled and happy to be able to tell her Mum about Mustard Powder hot foot baths.
It has also got rid of corns on the soles of my feet.

For the single photo, the robin posed especially nicely, and made the photography easy for me.

I have tried to capture Robins in my garden with my camera but really I'm rubbish! Lovely characterful bird, you feel like you know them and you want to give them a name! Mind you when they decided to nest in my garden I was constantly being harassed when I was pottering about. Noisy birds they can be!

Our robin stares at us through the window if food hasn't been supplied. He's a bit of a bully!

Sad sight the other day: found a dead Nuthatch just inside the greenhouse. No visible signs of injury.

Wonderful pictures and great imagination.

Your robin looks just like mine, Terra, lol. He or is it she has decided to make a nest in the shed & is busy flying in & out with beakfuls. The blackbirds were in there last year among the paint tins but robin has beaten them to it this year.
