Date for your diaries …

New TV series with Christine Walkden

Weekdays starting Monday 10th November 3.45 pm – 4.30 pm.

Fifteen parts, fronted by Amateur Gardening’s Q&A expert Christine

She visits UK gardens that inspired her career.

The BBC uses hot air balloons and drones to film gardens from high above tree-top canopies.

Christine’s most recent TV role came in The Great British Garden Revival.

The series proved so popular that the BBC has ordered a second run for 2015.

What a stunning place...Powis castle is definitely a must see for me now! In fact I would love to see all three of the places I've seen on the prog. So far! I wonder how they managed to schedule the weather to suit the ballooning....not a whiff of a breeze over mid Wales...and what spectacular scenery!

We are recording them and collecting them at the moment. I like her a lot and when I bought one of her books linked with a previous series of TV programmes which she did, it was like hearing her speak on every page! In those programmes she spent a lot of time in her neighbour Reg's garden, it was very endearing.

20 Nov, 2014

Hi Chris ..
the programmes are very interesting... especially yesterday's from the Snowdonia area ... good idea to collect recordings of the programmes together.

20 Nov, 2014

We have been recording them Terra ... tend to watch two in one sitting! It certainly gives a whole new vista from the air ... my favourite so far has been Trebah Gardens as we visited them a few years ago and walked down to have a picnic on the beach. :o)
