Sorry Terra my comments wouldn`t go through again last night.
I can remember you fetching Truffle, you sent me a pm enquiring on road conditions around our area, we had a lot of snow and you`d got to travel that day, you never said why but introduced Truffle a few days later so all became clear.
His puppy pics are lovely, its great to look back through them but gosh look at him now, he`s gone from a fluffy bundle to a very handsome lad and I`m sure he tries his hardest to be as good as Conker, lol..
Thats a lovely sign from Catfinch, I always think gifts like that are very special, very thoughtful of Cat and I bet you were made up when receiving it, Conker looks as though he thinks its good as well, I swear he looks as though he is smiling...
Love the blog Terra and the way you have done it, very clever and of course its going in my favs...

Coincidence ~ when I was finding photos for this blog, it took me back to that wintry day early in 2009 when I sent you a message asking if there was a lot of snow in your area ...
Despite the snow, Truffle travelled home in luxury, curled up in a cosy little "igloo-type" soft bed, oblivious of the freezing conditions outside..

Yes .. bringing the sign to the UK was so thoughtful of Catfinch ...
... and, as we know, soon after getting Truffle, Conker had to cope with months and months of cancer treatment, so it is wonderful to see him happy and smiling in 2011!

Oh yes Terra it all comes back, it was a horrible year for us as well, I always think of Malik when I am seeing Conker especially if the illness is mentioned, still reduces me to tears even when cuddling Brynner...

Yes, it was a difficult time ... I still have to stop when commenting on your pics, and make sure I don't write Malik by mistake... in fact, I did use the wrong name one time, but you were very understanding about it... and, likewise, I miss Bonsai the Welsh Terrier very much ...
..3 years on ...so I very much understand your feelings about lovely Malik ... xxx

Brynner is a lot like him in many ways but completely different in others, he is very stubborn, a trait Malik never had not even when a youngster which makes for some very funny moments, especially when trying to train him, lol, as to the name both hubby and I often call him Malik by mistake, we have pics now that if we don`t look at the collar then even we cannot tell the difference...

Yes .... I can imagine the photos of Malik and Brynner looking very similar ... :o)

Thanks. Yes, Truffle takes after his mother in lots of ways ... and not only in looks .. I saw her leap up very high a few times in her kitchen ... and Truffle is also good at the high jump in his kitchen .. Lol.
