On question - Bargains to be had at Poundland
Thanks for all your advice and opinions...ouch!!!
We normally order plug plants from gardening direct, and purchase from local nuseries.
To be honest, I did wonder about the quality, but they did look quite healthy to be honest.
I'll let you all know how I get on.

On question - Square Foot Gardening
What a good sized garden you have...I felt i was at the park lol
It sounds like you have it all planned out, but are you going to have raised beds, cos that seems a good way to to grow tasty veg etc..
I'm sure you'll find somewhere to rehouse your plants, if not send them this way lol
To be quite honest, I haven't got any suggestions cos I am quite new to this, but I would say try with different things and combinations and if if doesn't work, rearrange and try again.
The wonderful thing with our hobby is that there are no hard and fast rules. Thank God.
I was thinking of putting a Camillia in my mums garden, after seeing the size of yours, i definetley am going to. It's a good size isn't it?
Good luck and keep us posted

Hi Marge
Thanks for the tips. Just a quick question. Are u saying the cloves all need to be separated, or planted whole?
What are the benefits of spllitting the cloves?
Thanks in advance

On blog - marge been to garden club.
Thank you.
On question - RE: Question Posted Yesterday
Plant in left of pic, was given to me by my mum, not sure what it is, but established itself very quickly, also in back of garden.
The one next to it, looks a bit like a aloe vera in the summer. I know it's not, and a long shoot orange or red in colour comes through the middle of plant.
Any suggestions pls, cos I am really embarassed!

Thanks Gilli
I know. I'm happy that their planting out is staggered, that way it won't seem so bad.
I'm just thinking of the lovely veg to be eaten over the summer months. mmmh!
Blodyn, thank you for your kind message. I have to be honest, i'm quite impressed with myself at this point.
